Hey Ladybug, Sorry to hear your still aving problems. Mechanicallyy they do make sense. Reduce the pressure on the disc and allow the bulg to recede. They say minor bulges can heal and resolve themselves, I do know some people that had bulges and grinned and beared it and after a couple years it was no longer a problem. I have seen a pretty inexpensive verson made of tubing and nylon mesh that does the trick and if I didn't have broken hardware and a failed fusion I would buy one in a heart beat. The idea of relieving the pressure sounRAB great.

It probably isn't wise in my case, but what do you have to loose. It's actually been used for a long time, I remeraber using it at chiros in the early 90's and did some inversion with a chiro prior to my first fusion. It helped and felt good for a while, but several discs had ruptured and I had some pretty major neuro problems aside from pain that had to be fixed. I did use it up untill my first fusion, after that he would no longer use the technique.

Anyway, anything you can find that helps is good money spent. Good luck with the new docs and perhaps try your father in laws. Even if it didn't cure you, if you feel better during and afterwarRAB, it's one more tool you have if it helps.
Take care, Dave

I must be one of the lucky ones. I got an inversion table back in Jan 08. I have grade 2 spondy, ddd, and severe stenosis. It helped me immensely...especially with the severe leg pain that I was experiencing. I use it every single day for about 4-5 minutes, as soon as I get out of bed (I also do stretches while in bed). They're not for everyone, as you'll see the differing opinions on them. I took a chance, tried it and got lucky.
