"InuYasha: The Final Act" Talkback (Spoilers)

it was a whirlwind actually and I enjoyed the final act...it was a bit too fast at the start but the finish is what is really getting me into it. Fans will love it

If you've followed Inuyasha this far, then you'd might as well watch the final 26 to see where it goes. It's been satisfying, yet predictable and a bit cliche so far, but whatever.

My thoughts on the last episode

1) The animation for the episode was wonderful. Too bad every episode wasn't this good.
2) The kiss! Thank you for adding that anime writers.
3) Seeing Sango's kiRAB finally animated was a treat.
4) Koga getting married to Ayame was a little random, but I'm glad the guy got an ending in the anime. He was completely ignored in the final chapter of the manga.

Very nice ending. I think the final episode was actually a little better than the last manga chapter.

Just about what I expected, but I'm satisfied it's finally over.

Heh, Viz got a little sloppy with what they sent to Hulu? After the final credits sequence, they left in a Japanese commercial for InuYasha DVD's, and then a commercial for some other anime. Neither of which were subtitled, so I guess they simply followed the credits on Japanese television.

I have a question. Isn't the dub supposed to be airing on Adult Swim sometime later this year?

That's what I heard but I can't seem to find the source. So maybe I was misinformed.

This is the info that has been announced.
1) Viz Media has the rights to dub Inuyasha: The Final Act and has already aired it on Hulu and VizAnime with the Japanese subtitles. It is believed they have already begun production with the original cast to finish this series.

2) [adult swim] has the rights to air the original Inuyasha, so it makes sense they'd want to finish it with The Final Act. Earlier this year they announced they had 3 new anime series to air in 2010. The first two have now been revealed as FMA: Brotherhood and Kekkaishi. It is believed by many people that they will be airing Kekkaishi because it was the only way they could get The Final Act- as a package deal. The third anime series was said to premiere in Fall 2010, about the same time The Final Act should be finished in terms of dubbing. These three things have led most people to say The Final Act is the third anime, but until [adult swim] confirms it on their schedule or in a press release, then it is unknown since neither [adult swim] nor Viz have announced it. Neither of them announced Kekkaishi either until it showed up on the [adult swim] schedule online.

+1 , although I would had wished for

then Kegome and Inuyasha still continue to travel from world to world. Too bad then Sango and Miroku couldn't travel through the time, just imagine what if Miroku had meet Mrs Higurashi and asked his famous question with Sango who knocked him.

There was a fanartist nicknamed SugarT/Kasei-no-Magami (however the fanartist seem to be vanished, she was once at the Otaku.com, Deviantart and Fanart-central and she doesn't seems to be on the www anymore) where I once asked a request a long while ago of Sango, Miroku meeting Kagome's mother Mrs Higurashi. Just imagine what might have been
