Inuyasha: Final Act

I'm sure most of you are familiar with the anime Inuyasha. For those of you that didn't know, during late 2009 there was another series of Inuyasha that began called Inuyasha: Final Act that was released in Japan. I came across this anime on a site called . I watched the whole thing and I fell in love with Inuyasha all over again. For one, Final Act answers all the questions and ties up the loose ends that were left by the original series. Also, this is only 26 episodes long, which is much shorter than the original series. I recommend this to those of you that have watched Inuyasha and enjoyed the anime. I promise you that Final Act is much better than the original and is very much to the point instead of being packed full of fillers.

Out of curiousity, how many of you have already watched Inuyasha: Final Act? If you've already watched it, did you like or dislike it? Why or why not?

Inuyasha is what actually got me into anime. It's still one of my favorites today. I haven't watched Final Act yet though, I've been waiting on the dub to be released, which should be pretty soon now.

Yeah it definitely suits him better. I also prefer Sango and Kagome's english voices. It's been about a year since Final Act came out so the dub should come out any time now.

I hope so. I haven't seen it yet but I already know most of the major stuff that happens. The only thing I'm worried about is that they had to fit about 16 volumes of manga into 26 episodes, so the series might be too fast paced.

I haven't read all of the manga yet either, it's just that some of my favorite moments from the first series were the filler episodes where Inuyasha would go into Kagome's time, and I just hope they have some of those moments in the new one.

Rumor has it that Inuyasha: Final Act is going to be the third anime picked up by Adult Swim this year. It could be ready for US TV as recently as November...
