Anyone got a how-to or a website for valve adjustment for an IntruderLC 1500? Or maybe just tell me how it's done?

Bike had hydraulic valve lash adjusters. You should not need to do valve adjustments ever. If you are hearing noise, your decomp valve may be seated low.

thanks for the response and that really good site. A local motorcycle mechanic told us to have the valves adjusted. I told him the make/model, but I guess he isn't too familiar with it or at least I hope.

These bikes are really easy to maintain. Their only weakness is in the electrical system and there are some preventive things that can be done to protect the stator and rectifier. Also for some reason the battery cable connections need cleaned and tightened twice a year. Other than that its mostly pretty routine oil and lubricants. There are lots of customization options and performance tweaks that can really wake the bike up. Enjoy, you picked a good one.
