Ah, that's actually pretty nice. So we can really blame the photographer for taking those really crappy first shots that are circulating the internet.

I know, however I have read alot of threads of people trying to decide whether they wanted a 1098 or a honda 1000rr. It seems most of us here have come from the honda family to the ducati family like myself. I loved my 2004 honda 1000rr. and after all the bad reviews about how it looks from the side I had to post this post.
 
I like the new look of the 1000RR. Looks a lot better than the new ZX-10R. That thing is hideous!!

Certainly some people came here from the "Honda family," but I doubt "most" did.

As for the Honda RR you posted in the "Ducati Discussion" forum, for me it's a big "yawn". It looks like every other sportbike YamaKawaHondaSuzuki has mass-produced in the last ten years. I can't tell them apart. Boring. And the graphics on the red one are cheesy. Like all the graphics I see on YamaKawaHondaSuzuki sportbikes. Asian language characters on the 'Busa fairing?!! C'mon! Give me a break! Yeah, Asian language figures on the 'Busa fairing look real cool...if you're ten years old.

I think that was part of a fad earlier this decade. Back then, people were also getting Japanese characters as tatoos. I heard of one boy who got a tatoo that was suppose to translate into "Honor" or something like that but what it really said was "This is one ugly boy".
