Intolerable VAing?

It occured to me; I've never actually watched a show, or amovie, where the voice acting was so god-awful that it rendered the thing unwatchable. I've had bad dubbing (even Bebop had some of that) and the occasional badly delivered line (especially, sadly, during climax scenes), but never anything too unreasonable. Has anyone hear ever seen something like that.

Not a cartoon, but Lani Minella as Pit in SSBB. He sounded like a cocky deep-voiced woman, as opposed to the younger-sounding Japanese version.
I will say Lani did a better job voicing Lucas.

Thundercats. Even when I was a kid and Thundercats was new to me the show bored the hell out of me because of the voice acting. It was just bad and sucked all the run out of the show. When i was young I did not even understand why I did not like Thundercats but as I got older the reason was clear, it was the voice acting.

Usually it was a cute voice, but when Tara Strong would scream or get excited as Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls, it got excruciating.

Intolerable voice acting?

Ladies and gentlemen, there is only one answer for this question:

Daran Norris as Cosmo on "The Fairly Oddparents".

I don't know whose genius idea it was to have Norris (whom I otherwise respect) voice Cosmo like he's been castrated, but that someone needs to be fired...from a cannon into the sun.

Cosmo's impossibly high, only-dogs-can-hear-this-frequency voice is but one of several flat-out bad decisions made by the show's staff in recent years.

I agree with the VA that does Cosmo. He sounds like a castrato on helium. And then sped up 300%.

I found Spongebob's voice annoying even before he started going higher.

I remember seeing commercials for the Atlantis:Milo's Return (or whatever) and Milo's voice was so bad it made me never want to watch that movie...ever.

I have to agree with Norris as Cosmo on FOP. Like most of the characters, he started out fine, but his voice became way too high pitched for my taste. Though, it probably doesn't help that his personality has been altered completely as well.

Oh for me it is, Scott McCord could have used his Owen voice and that probably would fit more as well as be more entertaining. And don't get me started on Julie Lemieux...

Agreed...I don't really like any of the "child" characters she's voiced because the voice she uses is that annoying, though, for the most part, she does well voicing adult female characters (like Princess Catherine on Gargoyles)....though I also don't like her voice for The Nightmare Before Christmas' Sally in the Kingdom Hearts games (I can't quite put my finger on it,but it just doesn't sound right, and I still think they could've gotten someone who sounded more like Catherine O'Hara)...
