Into the wild....

Wanted to see this but it was only in for one week. Looks like one of those great films that goes under the radar.

Gladly it's out on DVD next month :)

Sheffield Showroom, it's on for the next week starting tonight, the cinema was pretty full and the film was fantastic! :)
From bits and pieces I'd heard about the film I'd kind of guessed what happened to him but didn't know how....quite a long film too but I didn't notice at all as it really draws you in.

Thanks. We made the trip to see it on Thursday and we both enjoyed it immensely.

Such a spellbinding movie, beautiful yet haunting. Quite possibly the best film I've ever seen. You know you've seen a class film when the whole cinema remains in their seats unable to move when the credits role.

Can't wait for the DVD now!

Sorry to bring up this old thread, but I watched this film again last night - the first time I saw it, I saw it at the cinema only because nothing else was on. Brilliant film, and such a sad story. I didn't even know it was based on a true story until the end...

Just watched it, what a brilliant film. Cannot belive it has been overlooked in the awarRAB this year.

It makes you think about life, and the life we are all "supposed" to live because that's what we are told to do.

Life is for living !

There's not many films that stick in my mind, long after you've strolled out of the cinema but this was one I turned over and over trying to make sense of it.

It's an absolutely brilliant film and how it was overlooked this year at the Oscars, I just have no idea.

The main character was someone you wanted to slap and embrace at the same time - for his inability to accept care and advice from people who loved him and his zest for just 'going and doing it, no holRAB barred'.

It's a heartbreaking story, shot beautifully and is just a joy from start to finish.

Best film I've seen in years, if not ever, it blew me away.

Just watched this.

Inspiring is the word I'd use. Emile Hirsch was just as amazing.

It's easily the best film I've seen in a long time (and I've seen alot of films). Infact, I can't remember the last time I felt so many emotions in one film. It really was amazing.
