i have an interview on thursday in a shop, has anyone got any tips, also should i take my ROA folder? (its my 1st interview)
many thanks

Yeah take it with you.
And plan out what to say. They will often ask why do you think your suitable for this job.
Just say you like communicating and socialising with people and feel this role would be suitable to progress.

They won't ask any detailed questions as they will know it's your first interview.
Good luck let us know how you get on.

Learn as much about the shop, and it's nearest competition, take a look at the shop and make a few notes in case you're asked how you would improve sales (but don't volunteer that info unless asked). You'll be asked how you would deal with a difficult customer, and remaining friendly relaxed and professional without raising your voice. Good luck.

look smart, smile and introduce yourself, and shake hands.
Take your folder, it shows you are really interested and they can read a little about you. Do you have a CV/Resume? If you do take that too. Provide referees such as your school, or personal referees.
Find out all you can about their shop. Do they have a website? Find out how long the business is running and future plans Do your research, it shows interest and commitment.
Ask them questions too. About the shop, and the job.
Remember to be yourself, dont be over-confident though, but do show that you are geniunely interested in working for their shop.
Hard to say much else without knowing what kind of shop it is, but anyway, best of luck. The fact you are asking questions about it shows you are interested and thats halfway there already!
Fingers crossed for you! x
