I am using VLC media player (on Ubuntu Linux) to listen to an Internet radio station. I'd like to set it up so that the title of the song currently being played is displayed as long as that song is playing.
Currently, the song title isn't displayed at all, unless I turn on the visualization engine. In this case, the song title is displayed for a second or two before it disappears.
I'd rather not require the visualization engine at all in order to see the song title.
