Internet not working on Samsung i730

I have tried everything possible to get the internet working on this phone.

Everything from changing all the settings, to programming *228, using Samsung PST Lite.

If someone has had success with this, please call me at 979-388-3064

Talking me through this or asking all the pertinent questions may do the trick

A) Try the Tutorial for the Motorola Q posted here?

This seems to be a PowerPC phone and the Q is a Windows Mobile smartphone device so i don't know if that will work for the i730
 
1. Upgrade to Windows Mobile 5
2. Create a new modem connection that dials #777, username is [10digitnuraber]@mycricket.com, password is 'cricket' (no ticks)
3. Configure your proxy for all protocols to be wap.mycricket.com:8080

If I upgrade to windows mobile 5, will this erase everything in my phone for phone to be able to work with cricket. Also, which update to I use. There is one on the internet which is for i730 but it is put out by verizon. I am scared this update will erase everything in my phone for it to work with cricket.

Yes, this upgrade will require a hard reset, which will erase everything on your phone. Note, however, that your Cricket PRL will stick (that is, you'll still be able to make calls and send texts immediately after the upgrade).
 
Thank you. Windows Mobile 5 update caused a little anxiety. Over this since the internet is working now.

Do you know how to get MSN messenger working? Also, having problems with Picsel Browser access internet. Internet Explorer works great.
