INTERNET HISTORY PROBLEM?

When I opened my internet history theres not a single webpage stored in it. I tried to go in the "Days to keep pages in history" but its 20 days. and I tried to go to Tools > Internet Options > General tab, and click on the TIF Settings button. Choose an 'Amount of disk space to use'. But still theres nothing stored in my history.. and also when I drop down my adrress in my address tab, theres no url stored in it too.. please help me with these.!
 
Maybe you have an internet security software like norton. I know that when I purchased norton 360, there was a hidden option that deletes all internet explorer files every time you close the browser. Perhaps that is where the problem is.

Or maybe somebody has been deleting the files manually.
