I moved to Spain over a year ago and just found out I am being summoned to appear at court for some kind of law suit involving a car accident. Six months before I left the US i rear ended a guy, no damage was done as it was just a love tap. We waited for the police to come to give a report but no one ever showed up. We exchanged info and that was the last i heard of it. Well i just spoke with my dad and he said that i am now being summoned to appear in court. my question is If I go back to visit will I be arrested at the airport upon my return? Or will this only happen if i am stopped by a police officer?
