I have a Verizon family plan which gives me 5,000 text messages a month.
I currently barely use any, but would use a lot more if I were able to text countries outside of the U.S. I have friends in Canada, Okinawa, and Australia, the latter of which being the most important. The Verizon site says that a text message to Australia costs $0.25. Is that even with my texting plan? Are international texts a part of a plan I can add for a few bucks a month or is it impossible to ever not be charged 25 cents per text?
