I just saw a really bright star left of the moon and my dad said its the International space centre. I got the information below online but would love more details explaining why it is more visible at certain times. Its really difficult to find what Im looking for. Does anyone know anymore information or websites I can look at with this info?

[The] International space centre is in low orbit - at 250 miles above the earths surface. It travels at 17,000 mph and orbits the planet every 100 minutes.

it was probably saturn

saturn is the bright thing to the left of the moon, slightly higher than it
