i was in brasil and i was making calls from there. i knew the charges would be ridiculous (i thought i had seem $.69/min, only to find out it was $2.99). but i was wondering about my texting and email/web.
texting is .35 for sending and .15 for receiving. fine. no problem.
email - didnt have much of a choice. if my fone was ever turned on with my tmo sim card, emails would just pour in.
i come back home and check my bill. regularly i pay about $82. then i read the extra charges for international roaming. for my phone calls, it showed me the minutes. for texting it showed me how many messages. when i went looking for the data usage, couldn't find anything. so i called tmo and asked if they can check how much i used because i wanted to make sure i was getting charged the correct amount. 20 mins on hold, to have the operator come back and say that it's $15/mb. great. but how many mb's did i use? she has no idea. her manager has no idea. so i bluntly asked her, "so since there's no way to track my mb's used, tmo COULD charge me whatever they wanted to since theres no way of you to see how many mb's i used?" obviously her answer was no. it would get caught when they get audited.
so now i'm stuck with a $232 bill that i'm not even sure i should be charged for.
if anyone knows where i can check all this information to make sure i'm getting charged properly, please let me know
