internal bleeding

cannot find where person is internally bleeding - My mom is 92 and is producing blood but has to go in every 4 weeks for two pints. They looked in her stomach and intestine with a camera and could not find anything
 
When GI bleed is suspected you have to be sure that they checked the small bowel also, not only the colon and esophagus and stomach. If they did that and found nothing then it may be related to a problem that a Hematologist could figure out. FLFLOWERGIRL:)
 
You may want to take a look at your mom's diet and look for any supplements or drugs that could promote bleeding in sensitive individuals. Vitamin C, Niacin, caffeine, aspirin, or coumadin could be a contributing factor. I have even heard of popcorn named as a problem food. Good luck.
