intermittent audio/video delays with 3100's

I have 3 X 3100 units with multiswitch. Each unit can have up to 60 sec. delay in audio/video connect. To resolve we flick back & forth to other channels before getting connection. The highlight bar for channel description is OK.

Bell tech came ($75) & checked all , switch OK, LNBF changed, alignment OK....but same problem. He said could be "software problem" but not sure. Everything checked out including lines to/from dish to units. Anyone with any ideas?

I agree that does sound like software to me, well certainly as the Hardware has been checked.

A 60 second delay would be unacceptable to me.

Was it like this on all 3 before the recent Smart Card Swap.?
