I just had my mass air flow sensor replaced 1hr ago and ever since then my interior lights wont shut off. Doors are securely closed, already have sprayed w/WD-40, open and closed doors several times and they just wont go off. Any suggestions?

I own a 2000 626, and that has happened to me as well. I checked the light switch to make sure that it was in the door or off position( depending on what you prefer). Then closed the door. That worked for me. If that doesn't work for you than bring it back to the place that worked on your car. They may have had to remove another sensor and forgot to put it back. Their mistake not yours, so let then fix it. Good luck.

It sounds like another electrical problem. The interior light could just be the cars way of telling you about it. For example sometimes if your dash lights don't come on your tail lamps will be out. You may have something else out and that is how the car lets you know about it. I would contact a dealer and see if this is some time of warning system for you.

You have a faulty 'door ajar switch', it is a simple switch like your home light switch. The most likely door switch at fault is the door used most often (driver's) Some knowlege is required on your year model as the switches may have to be manually disconnected to find the faulty one. This switch may be a simple push button in the door jam or part of the latch assembly, I am not real sure for your car. 99% probablility door switch fault.
