I have an IBM T60p it happens to have the verizon wireless broadband built in.

its CDMA like Cricket. any way to make the verizon modem work with cricket? I like the $40 price tag of crickets monthly service.

also I DO NOT NEED the service monthly. I will be going prepaid so using it when I need it. chances of getting around the $25 activation punishment fee? (thats a deal breaker for me its worth $40 a month but not worth $65 a month :-)

Thanks!

It's very possible, you can BYOM to cricket and activate. As far as billing not really sure that one would be best asked to cricket.
As for flashing it, it should read as a USB port by QPST or CDMA WS.

:^/ I used QPST to hack my own Sprint Mobile Broadband card, and QPST treated it just as it would a USB device. It's just a matter of selecting the correct COM port.

As for Pay Go, I'm not sure whether that's limited to Cricket's own devices or not.
