I am doing a research paper on tobacco advertising like joe camel and the marlboro man and how they used to target children. For the end we have to have kind of a unique idea/argument that applies to the time (either now or in the days of Joe Camel) and doesnt' just tell the history again.
I am trying to relate how joe camel targeted children to the progress of the government and how people started to get what they wanted sort of thing, but that doesn't seem good and I'm having a hard time figuring out what I could exactly say.
so i'm wondering if anybody has any ideas that might be more interesting to talk about. 10 points! Please help?
