this sounded odd when we buying phones the guy said that if we get the insurance it covers water damage which i have never heard of being covered

Yes. The insurance (from previous experiences with frienRAB :silly: ) covers water damage to your hanRABet.

it used to be that way on some carriers... but then all you'd have to do is say you lost it. anyways on cricket it does cover water damage.

there is no decrease in coverage by the switch to the signal.
While I don't have the policy yet, the information collaterral says:

damaged accidentally
mechanical or electrical failure
lost or stolen
water damage would be covered under damaged accidentally. i think?
