Instinct WAP Solution

will try that. just purchased cdma 3.3 also, and i think there is an option there to change to simple ip.

this instinct was my personal one, had it provisioned on sprint previously. calls/text is fine. excited to see if this WAP will really work on here.. still tried to provision power vision though when i click the web button...

either the radio is dead, or your prl is not correct or if you hex the esn without the 2nd half key matching it will cut the radio also i have found out...

when i ping the first time it did not work with me i thought am doing some thing wrong
but i try another time and i found out the i should have the webpage opened in the phone in order to ping it
so i try the wap.mycricket.motricity.com which give me {66.179.166.148}
and i try the www.mycricket.com and it give me {69.43.195.28}
but when i went to wap.mycricket.com i did not get the web page to open i dont know why i was working on a fully flash lg rumer any way am gonna try to use another fully flash phone and try to get it later on

I have No voicemail alert???

can anyone tell me what is wrong?

is it a setting in qpst or what?

also I get this weird "picture mail available soon" message EVERYTIME IT BOOTS???

ALL THIS HAPPENED AFTER CRICKET FLASH
EVERYTHING WORKS OTHERWISE,,, EXCEPT PIC TEXT AND OLD SPRINT ICONS/ SPRINT WEB SHORTCUTS

IF ANYONE CAN HELP LET ME KNOW, THANKS

yes best thing to do is to use samsung pst or pst lite to edit all the settings. The samsung pst will not ask you for spc so use that one.

Hiya,
I'm a noobie, however, if I have 2 katana phones that have been flased to cricket can I use the steps mentioned beforehand to get the WAP to work? If so, what equipment would I need to make this happen? Thanks for any assistance! 8 )

Thanks to midiology from cricket phone talk and all who helped on this tut, I just successfully flashed my 1st instinct w/ working wap. Just follow the steps, and bingo, again, this will not work on a brand new phone,,,has to be provisioned with sprint first. :clapping:

Sometimes I need to question my mastery of the English language, because I thought I was somewhat clear on the question.

"once you read the phone.. go to m.ip and change from mobile ip to simple ip only,,, and look at the first 2 user profiles under m.ip open each one up and change the Nai to [email protected],, for both standard and tethered... remove any ip address that you find in these 2 profiles. and remove any other profiles except the first 2.
also make sure both of them say enabled...,, "

The question related to the fact that I have not seen anything listed with m.ip. I see the PPP section and have edited that accordingly, but still haven't found where I would make the changes to m.ip profiles.

Personally, I would have thought that somewhat would ask which version of QPST I was using, just in case I have an older version. Or considering that I don't really use QPST, maybe some clarification... Although I have written to the phone, I am missing something.

well.. i checked the ip addres nslookup didnt really work...it gave me three diff ip addresses i tried them all ...no go ..
