I am gay myself, and I think that where gays go wrong is that instead of asking for tolerance and acceptance from society and being content with it, they go beyond that and seek approval and endorsement. They seem to feel the need for everyone else to not just merely accept their sexuality, but to also APPROVE of it and to endorse them. I think this is an unreasonable expectation
