I'm trying to install Ubuntu 9.04 on my 64gb USB flash drive.
I'm using this tutorial: http://www.pendrivelinux.com/usb-ubuntu-904-persistent-install-windows/
I run the U904.bat file and everything seems to work fine. But then when I try to run the makeboot.bat file from my flash drive, I get an error message. I've figured out that the problem is in my /syslinux folder on my flash drive. Instead of having the correctly installed files, I get a file named "U¬U¬" and in the text.cfg file in my /syslinux folder, the only contents are this: "UªUª"
Why does this happen? I think it may have something to do with the filesystem, which I managed to change from NTFS to exFAT then to FAT32 (it is currently at FAT32). Or maybe it's because of the large size of my flash drive (64gb)?
