I took off the rear brake drum and took brake apart. Just got it back together but cant get the drum back on. just barley there. Brake is not on. Any one?
You need the back off the adjuster. Its the piece that screws together between the two shoes on the bottom. You need to screw it to make it shorter, and you drums should fit on.
You have to back the adjustment screw back down. The new shoes are thicker then the old ones. The screw is at the bottom. But don't back it down too much or your brakes will go to the floor. It's right when it's hard to get it on but you can still get it on.
