Installing mysql 5 with php 5 and apache 2.2 on windows ?

Plase give me step by step Guide on how to make mysql 5 work with php 5 running on windows with apache 2.2 ?
i have failed many attempts.
it says Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect()
nd in php info page, mysql is not listed too. hw to install it ?
