instaling 6X9 car speakers?

Can i wire 6X9 car speakers directly to an amp or do i need to wire them to the radio? i already have a 4 channel amp set up with 2 subs attached but havent got 6X9s yet.
 
NO" Don't get 6x9's they will sound crap if you 2 12" just spend the money and get another set splits in the front and stuff the people who sit in the back.

The reason why i say this is because if you have people in the back they will hear the music when there is not bass but as soon there is bass they sound like they distorted.

i had a set of $400 6x9's and 2 12's they sounded so crap i took the 6x9's out and put them in my mums car.
