Inspire 4G vs iPhone 3G[S] (8 GB)

My place of business is moving us to AT&T from another carrier. My choices are Curve 3g, Inspire 4g or iPhone 3gs(8gb). Much as I like the BB, I can't take the small screen any more, so I need to decide between the Inspire 4g and the iPhone 3gs (8gb). This will be a work phone so emphasis is on MS Exchange integration, typing capabilities, that sort of thing. I'm going to try to qualify for tethering for my laptop so that ability is a concern as well. I'm fairly techie so I can handle more complicated setup things, but I also don't want to have to be tweaking my phone weekly.

Any advice? Please give reasons why you think one may be a better choice that the other. If there is a better thread for this, please feel free to move.

Thanks in advance.

Inspire 4g, Supports MS Exchange, processor blows Curve and Iphone out of the water. Tethering available also. Iphone 3g is at the end of its support cycle from apple. Typing is about the same on iphone and inspire, both touch screen keyboards. Only you know if you can do a full keyboard or software based.

Both serve their purpose.

If you want a phone that a 4 year old can use then the iphone will fit the bill. Its a good device that if you fit inside the box will serve you well.

Android can do more and is still easy to use. Just not totally idiot proof perhaps. Google up on it or try one and then the other.

You should be happy with either.

Iphone OS is locked and you have to use itunes to move contacts, music and pics on and off the device. The PC u use to put the info on the phone, is the one u are kinda stuck with (unless you get into jailbreaking). The amount of memory in the iphone is set and cant be upgraded.

The Inspire is much newer hardware and a very nice Android phone. The 3GS is a bit older, but still runs well and has a lot of apps available that tend to work better/smoother. If you're not a tech person, get the iPhone. If you're a techhead, get the Inspire. You really won't be disappointed with either.

Both are very good choices, in my case I would go for the Inspire 4G since it's a newer model but you also couldn't go wrong in case you choose the iphone as stated by the other members
