Inspiration please? I want to draw something....?

Hey, I just won a nice new sketchbook as a prize for a painting I did in school... and I want to use it, but I can't decide what to draw. I want to just do a simple pencil sketch, no colors (yet at least) and something that involves shading... any ideas?

I dont care what the subject is, but I would like to be able to look it up on google images or soemthing to get an idea of what it looks like =]
 
i like drawing dolphins jumping (? hahaha thats the wrong word) in the moonlight..

so.. you draw the water... then a huge half moon coming out of the water.. and then draw dolphins on the moon in dark :)

if you dont like that idea then flowers are always pretty to draw.
 
I find the best inspiration through people. Go out into a crowded area, such as a mall, and try to capture the people you see. You could try and do a more detailed sketch of them, or time yourself for 60 second, 30 second, 15 second, or 5 second increments.
