Aw. Is this why you don't like them anymore? I used to think their music was dark and angry when I was an angsty teenager but listening to it now at age 20 I see there's a lot of light in their music as well.

not if shes one of the 10+ million people from major cities with likely more tolerant people than your **** state. what you got 11 million in your entire state? gtfo with your weak midwest bull ****.

Okay, I confess that I didn't stop listening to them seriously until early last year. What happened was that 10,000 days was just too long, and all was left was Lateralus for me (I didn't own the previous efforts, not even A(e)nima) and I didn't feel like waiting another 5 years, and A Perfect Circle just wasn't doing it. So I deciphered all the little hints and nuances of the album (mainly how the title song progresses in a mathematical pattern), and got over the drumming, and I was left with "well, what now?"

I also developed an ear for more complex and patience rewarding recorRAB, and thought Tool were just too predictable after awhile. I just felt like I grew up, and Tool sounded too angry.

Though, to this day, I enjoy Lateralus. I coped to Parabol/Parabola for some time.
