Insect bites?

Hey folks,
I am wondering how serious would this insect bite be (i suspect it is an insect bite since i have been working at camp for a few weeks and ive had this bite for a week now). There are kind of like 6-8 pimple like lesions in the same area on the back part of my leg. I didnt think it were insect bites and they were that serious so i popped them, but a few morehave come out (probably cause i popped them). Surely if they were that serious, like poisonous insect bites, i would be dead by now? Anyone have any idea what i might have been biten by? Cheers

Thank you for the replies. Ive seen fire ants around a lot, and it seems as though that it is the fire ant that is the culprit.

It has been about 8-9 days since I got the marks from it. It is getting better now (it seems), but how likely do you think there would be any health complications that I should be worried about in the future if I leave it untreated? Do most people leave fire ant bites untreated, and survive from any health complications in the future?

Yes, fire ant bites are annoying but harmless.

Keep the area clean, use a large bandaid if your pants or shoes chafe against the bites.

Ganozhi Toothpaste is the answer. It is very effective to my
2 yr. old kid. It seems you have first aid kit if you have one.
