I recently bought a prepaid Verizon phone (the Verizon Wireless Blitz), and I chose the INpulse Core plan. If I understand the plan correctly, I pay a $0.99 "access fee" only on the days I use it, and I also pay a $0.10 per minute or $0.10 per text charge.

My question is about text messaging. If I only RECEIVE a text message on a day, does that trigger the $0.99 access fee charge? So I would end up paying $1.09 for receiving a single text message?

The $0.99 charge on days you use it is only triggered by voice usage, not text messaging. You can send/receive text messages to avoid the daily fee.
