I finally got to see it and must say it wasn't that bad. They've changed quite a lot from the book but I guess they had to as it's quite a complicated book. :)

I saw the MTV special on the making of this movie, and I must say the actor who plays Farid reminds me ever so slightly of a young Orlando Bloom

in real life he has almost exactly the same accent as Orlando!

Hope to see it this week! Can't wait.

Read the book last week, I quite liked it.

I saw the movie two and loved it. Dispite the low money at the box office I hope they go along with InkSpell any ways. That's my favorite book out the three. I think the actors did a superb job as the characters, my opinion any ways.

Do you mean trying not to spoil?

I'm glad you like the film, it hasn't come out here yet :irked:

I saw the movie last weekend and now want to get my hands on the books big time. :) I loved Paul B. as Dustfinger and I really liked the bit with the characters wife (TRYING TO SPOIL!)

I plan on reading the books soon, just have some others I need to finish up. I'm excited :)

I'm super excited for the film to.
A. I read the books and loved them.
B. Breandon Fraiser is in it and plays my favorite character.

Two points for me YAY.

I didn't know this was a book!! I saw the trailer on TV and I'm really excited to see it.

OMG! I'm such a big fan of the first two books, I'll be reading Inkdeath when it comes out in paperback later this year. I know this film has been ready for some time but like others,
coughHalf Blood Prince cough, has been put back quite a few times :irked:

I'm a big fan of Paul Bettany too, so I'm doubly excited about seeing him as Dustfinger, who is my favorite character in the books.

This movie looks pretty cool. I saw the trailer recently and it looks very exciting. I don't know anything about the books though.

I was excited for this movie like a year ago, surprised it hasn't come out yet.

Inkheart.
Every story written is just waiting to become real.

Inkheart, Inkspell and Inkdeath are three wonderful books by Cornelia Funke.
Inkheart, the first in the trilogy, has been made into a movie and is set to hit the big screen on December 12th (UK). It stars a magnificent cast, with Brendan Fraser in the lead role.
I have been eagerly anticipating this movie for almost two years as the trilogy is my favourite collection of books. I'm so excited; I can't wait to see it!
