OK....I am totally out of my proair inhaler. It costs me $30 to get an new one, and frankly, i cannot afford that. Is there any alternative. The pharmacist told me to ask my dr. Is there though? My mother-in-law suggested I ask for xopenex inhaler. I used this in solution for nebulizer before.......does it act as a quick relief though?

xopenex is available as a rescue inhaler. I switched to it when my insurance changed. Xopenex is $10, while the "gerenic" Proair is $60. Works great with fewer side effects that albuterol.
