I am having issues! A friend told me about how she got critiqued by her professor for overusing 'ing' words. Now that I look through my work, I feel like they are popping up everywhere, and that I have totally overused them. And now they're closing in on me, driving me insane! No, but seriously they are. I feel like scrapping the piece i'm working on or something. So is there a real rule of some sort regarding these? Wow, that was really long, and not really a question... Anyway, what is the reason?
