I am taking a course on human sexuality and we have an assignment on sexuality in different cultures. I chose to do my assignment on sexuality in Egypt. I am just wondering if anyone is knowledgeable on some of the information I am required to find. Here are the 10 questions I am required to find out about:
1) Do young people date in Egypt?
2) What is dating like for Egyptian people? How long does a dating cycle typically last before marriage?
3) Is there premarital sex in Egypt? (approx percentage of people who do this)
4) What is sex like for Egyptian people? Is it similar to Westernized intercourse where there is alot of kissing, touching and can go on for a long time? Or very straight to the point (i.e. no foreplay, no kissing, very quick)
5) Is there a high rate of infidelity amongst married/dating couples in Egypt? (what is the rate)
6) Are women who do not wear the Hijab in Egypt seen as undesirable for marriage?
7) What percentage of Egyptian men and women are circumcised (if any)?
8) What is the level of respect that Egyptian men have for women?
9) Are Egyptian men and women faithful to their partner?
10) What is the typical age of marriage for Egyptian men and women?
