As a year 12 school leaver, i'm currently trying to work out a back-up plan in case i don't get into university, and i've heard the term bridging course thrown around.
First of all, what exactly would it mean if i were to do one?
How exactly does it work?
Do you have to apply for it, or do they offer it to you?
Could i do it via distance education?
And do only selected universities do it? I've applied mostly for ACU courses, but they seem to be missing a lot of the more mainstream options in terms of scholarships and whatnot, so i'm unsure whether they offer them.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks
