Info on what stripper pole to buy...?

I have recently taken a pole dancing class and now im obsessed with pole dancing. I want to buy a pole soon and i had my eyes set on the carmen electra pole by peekaboo. The only problem is that my friend recently purchased and installed that same pole in her house and i was a little disappointed to see the giant screw thing on the bottom. It really hurts if your body touches it and with that being there you cannot do much floor work after getting to the base of the pole. I really need some advice on a pole that i can do spins and upside-down tricks on that is easy to install and doesn't cost $400.00.
PLEASE HELP!!!
