info on dirt bikes!!!!!!!?

i have a xr 80 now and am looking at cr 125s. i only want to spend like $1300 on a cr 125 so idk what to get...i have plenty of experience i just want to keep my next bike for the rest of my life....is a cr 125 good cause im ganna be about 6 foot or maybe a little taller. i am very skinny and want a powerful bike...is this the right decision?!?! ****remember i am only looking to spend around $1000 to $1400 on a 1996-2000 year bike!!!!!!!! thanks alot sorry for writing so much!!!!!!
