info on a toyota yaris automatic. 9 year old.?

I recently purchased a toyota yaris year 2000. Unfortunately there is no manual. Can someone explain the gears and the small button located at the base of the gear stick. Thanks
 
just normal automatic except with overdrive button below gear knob this shows on the dash as o/d on or o/d off you should use o/d on for normal driving.the button at the bottom is a shift lock button used to get gears into park if putting your foot on the brake does not work.i had a blown fuse on mine and the brake lights were not working and had to use shift lock till i found the blown fuse problem.ypu should not need to touch the button in normal use.hope this helps you
 
May i surgest looking on EBAY for a manual.. i bet you will find one and very cheap to.. order one today and you could have it by saturday.... just thouhgt i'd say.. hope you don't mind.. bye bye
