Infamous Cartoons That You Really Like

This is steadily turning into just another "List your favorite shows" thread.

How are any of those shows listed above infamous? And how does being new make a show infamous?

FTR, infamous means having an exceedingly bad reputation; notorious.

Well, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is kind of infamous since it was a Saturday morning cartoon adaptation of the campy teen-oriented sequel to a deliberately bad monster-movie spoof, and Extreme Ghostbusters could be construed as infamous since it featured a new cast, it contained the overused buzz word extreme and it boldly featured a handicapable character as one of the protagonists, but those others, no. I don't get how Mighty Max or Hey, Arnold! are in any way infamous; they were each pretty mainstream actually. (Arnold! is infamous for me because I personally couldn't stand it, but that remark belongs in the "Popular Shows You Never Got Into" thread, which I've already stated my views in.)

And, no, I don't get how a shows' being new automatically makes it "infamous" either. The only thing Chaotic and Di-Gata Defenders are infamous for are being the latest card/dice battle game-based shows, and I've seen worse examples of both.

:anime: To me the animation was the best part. I never really got into the show, but while I was waiting for WITCH and Oban, I watched just for the animation,,, mostly Kitt  (I think that was her name)

I saw the original short of this show somewhere, and it had me rolling, the series lost something in the writing that just never quite measured up for me. They likely couldn't write as bold over the long term, or maybe they simply had poor writers?

Agreed. The story was absolutely meh, but I have liked his animation since Eon Flux. If he'd make a show of hot future girls battling evil robots, I'd probably watch

A.T.O.M. - The action is predictable and most of the characters are 1D, but the overall storyline is interesting and the vehicles and weapons are awesome. Plus, Hawk is the coolest character I've seen.
The PJs - I'm still kinda mad that this didn't get picked up, but Family Guy did.
Filmation's Gohstbusters - It was weird seeing two Ghostbusters shows, but the were so radically different I enjoyed them both.
The GO Bots - Yeah we all know Transformers were superior, but that didn't make the characters any less awesome.
Double Dragon, Street Fighter, Megaman, Darkstalkers - Honestly, I really don't understand why people hate these shows, so their a little different, the basic plots are kept the same.
Stroker & Hoop - It had its sick and perverted moments, but the action was great and Stroker overall was a cool guy.

Um, Hi there. Im a fan of the FGB too. It's on the 'To buy' list. And put DnD on the list as well. The DnD dvd set is one of the best Ive ever bought, if only for the cool extras.
