Indy 4

Far fewer CGI shots than in most fantasy/adventure movies. A few hundred in Indy compared with thousanRAB in something like Spider-Man. The movie did have many more physical stunts than others of its type.

Really enjoyed. Daft as a brush. The OTTness of Temple of Doom, and the lightheartedness of Last Crusade. Will see again soon. A little over-silly in places - but overall - thoroughly fun. It was far from perfect, but it was NO Phantom Menace.

Some say that's possible. Said that Shia LaBeouf's Mutt Williams will be the star though, not Harrison Ford.

Anyway, watched the movie last night. Aww, it was far from what i expected to be. A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT...i mean, come on twenty years ago George Lucas has fresher idea than this
alien
things and the traps were better back then too.

I thought it was entertaining throwaway stuff but not a patch on the originals. It should have been a great film, but in the end it was mediocre - and for a Spielberg film it was poor. I was disappointed with the huge amounts of unnecessary cgi in it - after I'd read that Spielberg was going to use traditional effects in homage to the earlier films. I wish he'd stuck to that idea. The cgi made everything look either too easy or too unbelievable.
And there weren't enough jokes about Harrison Ford's age.
So, overall, it was a disappointment.

But then again, maybe us fans of the original 3 are just getting older and have different expectations these days.
