Indoor tanning Lotions/Oils would they work outdoors?

i am going on vacation and i want to get really dark. Will indoor tanning lotions/oils work outdoors? If so, will it work better than store bought tanning lotions/oils? What indoor lotions/ oils do you recommend for outside use? I rather get a lotion something oil free so i can use it on my face also. One more question, if i put spf 30 sunblock BEFORE i apply the indoor tanning lotion on my skin, will the tanning lotion still work, will it still get me tan?
 
most indoor tanning lotions are strictly for indoors on the warning labels they usually say not to use them outside because it can cause serious skin damage
