indoor outdoor cat to stay inside?

ok i had my cat for about two years i thinkg he goes outside sometimes for 3 days then comes back i want him to just stay inside but i find it nearly impossible when he wants to go out he moews and moews and doesnt stop and it gots louder and he doesnt stop onetime he noewed for 3 hours nonstop idk what to do
 
Good on you for looking to switch him to indoors only. He'll be far safer and healthier for it.
