Individual unlimited plan

Hi,

Was lurking on the forums and I was never able to get a straight answer from researching on TMO's website nor asking customer care b/c they always give me different responses.

But I am curious since I now have the unlimited plan if that means I get unlimtied minutes on the UMA network as well. If I travel overseas and connect on WIFI that means I can make calls to the US and not be charged roaming or airtime b/c I'm on the UMA and I have unlimited minutes right?

Also, I have unlimited texts and I know that I get charged when I send international text msgs, but do I get charged when I receive international text msgs?

You get charged when you recieve and send international text message.

Now about the UMA calling... I do believe you are billed for those calls. I have WIFI at my house and I get charged for the minutes for I use at my house.
 
~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~you need to add the hot spots @ home if traveling overseas turn off all connections except for wifi otherwise you will be charged for international roaming
If you send out international text you will still be charged receving international while in us costs nothing if you are roaming and send text you will be charged incoming nothing

If you leave other connections on while roaming your calls emails and browsing can be charged you can add the international email but everything else will be charged
 
That's weird because its always been free to receive(whenyou are in the states) them when you have a message bundle and 15cents to send them with a message bundle. Without a text bundle you get charged both ways. In reagrds to wifi they are working it out to where international rates will be as low as or comparable to a vonage. makes me worry about all of these hidden charges I will get with my plan.
I have unlimited individual..
so I naturally assumed that I have access to the UMA by default b/c of wifi on my phone and I would assume since I have unlimited minutes, going on the UMA would make no difference since I have unlimited minutes on my bucket.

My other real concern is the text messaging, I am praying I don't get charged when I receive text msgs, especially since most of my msgs are coming from Canada into the US.

Whenever I call TMo, I always get different answers and its a little frustrating at times since they aren't the most typical of questions :S
 
that is correct, Text messaging is unlimited with the unlimited plan...as for international? I am unsure. I guess it is more like a check and see.

How much is this unlimited plan? I thought I was on an unlimited data plan - but I pay for incoming and outgoing sms messages.
