Indiana jones trilogy now on dvd

Really good- nice bonus disc of stuff, shame no commentaries but there you go. Word of advice, the UK one has cuts in the Temple of Doom disc, the US Region one discs are uncut.

how bad are the cuts which version do you have?

Information on cuts from "Temple Of Doom" can be found here but there are other sites on the net which give more details (how far into film, length of scene cut, etc).

We can now confirm that Temple on UK DVD will be the same censored version that was released in UK cinemas and on UK home video. The scenes during the sacrificial Thuggee ceremony proved to be just as graphic today as they were in 1984 under the British Board of Film Classification

Has anyone seen the DVD's yet. I've heard that the effects have been touched up to remove artifatcs and the like to make them appear more cleaner but not altered as with Star Wars. But what I'd like to know is if they have removed the "faults" like the reflection in the glass between Indy and the snake? I hope it's still there.

I got my Region 1 box set from a well known internet site based in Jersey and for once I didn't end up paying import fees on it (hope the same goes for the Galactica box set but I bet it won't). The film certainly seems more vibrant on disc but it's not been radically altered as far as I could see.
The bonus disc is great but again it's a shame there are no commentaries on these discs, I hope that Paramount don't pull a fast one in a year or two with a re-release including Indy 4 (if it does get made) with bonus commentaries.
