i was working for doemstic airlines as a flight attendant in india.
however i had a tiff with my senior crew coz she used to treat us juniors as if we were her servants.and the people for whom i stood up left my side when the management called me and since she knew the operations head the management asked me to apologise to her .
i said i wont as she needs to learn tha fact that others are human beings too irrespective of the weather they are senior or junior to her.
well all this happened in feb 2007 and they put me off flights and i didnt get a call ever from anybody my reporting manager the management etc.
well in october 2008 after 1 yr and 3 months the company sends me a letter saying UNAUTHORIZED ABSENCE FROM WORK.
i was not in india that time i had gone abroad for higher education.
when i came back in sep 2009 i found these two letters and the second one says i needed to give three months notice and i didnt so asking me to pay 70000 rs within 15 days or legal action.
its already been months past the 15 days they gave me ,,,i was not here and nobody opened my mail .
i didnt know i thot i was fired ,,,they didnt contact me for 1 yr and 3 months ,,,no mails ,no calls,,,,i was unemployed for about 6 months because i thot they were gonna call back well they didnt so i joined aother company.
will they really sue me?
how is it my fault?
what should i do? what are my options?
is it right for the company to torture sombody like that.
plz experienced answers will be appreciated.
