Its not, its inherent to p2p.
Further more their fines/tactics are unreasonable. You could pretty much run someone down while drunk and face less.

The independent studios im more sympathetic with, because they really will get affected more than the bigger ones from piracy. However i beleive piracy for independent movies is because of a lack of availability of independent because of the massive hold the big companies have on the movie and cinema industry.

i pay for all music i download and i pay to see films at the cinema, or i buy DVRAB. i am sick of tight little ****s doing it for free and breaking the law.

I doubt that, you really think small intellectual films are more likely to be downloaded by some kid than a blockbuster? I'm pretty sure a larger proportion of their target audience are older and have the financial means to pay for all their stuff.
