The BBC did a complimentary radio play to ID4 - called (unsurprisingly) ID4:UK. It focuses on what happened in Britain & includes Nicky Campbell & also Sir Patrick Moore fist fighting ETs. :D
 
LOL :D I know what you mean. Interestingly another poster brought up War of the WorlRAB - the aliens are ultimately defeated by human technology.
Surely the aliens would be able to create another shield when the 1st one is destroyed?!
And come on, anyone would know they would have a shield. And how come the Americans dont start off with more powerful weapons instead of just shooting (almost) peashooters at the aliens :D :p
 
If you after a compelling story that explores the very depths of the human condition and the struggles we face in evry day life dont get this film. If you want a right rollicking effects extravaganzer where you can leave the real world behind and get carried away on a flight of fantansy that watch ID. I dont get people who seem to be expecting more from what is an unashameable effects blockbuster. I like ID and I dont care who knows it because real life is for living...movies are for taking me away from it all for a while :)
 
Yeah it's dumb and fun and great for testing your sound.

I've just seen his latest, 2012 and that's the dumbest yet. It wasn't much fun either. Were we expected to care a jot if a bunch of privileged billionaires made it onto 'arks' while the rest of the world drowned? It made Independence Day seem like intellectual!
 
I wanna see a big Kick-Ass Tanks v Aliens movie, maybe a sea battle - when there was one in Stargate SG1, all we got to see was the telephone on the Presidents desk!
 
And how much alien technology have you seen or used to know that they are not compatible?


I could of sworn they used morse code because satellite communications was not possible due to the alien ships using them to communicate to each other while possitioned around the earth.
