Incredibles DVD - Foreign Subtitles?

hi everyone,

i was wondering if anyone was experiencing the same problem as i am ---

at certain points on The Incredibles (region 2), foreign subtitles appear at the bottom of the screen. i cannot remember every place they appear at although when the word 'kronos' is mentioned stuck in my mind.

does anyone know of this problem?

I am getting the same problem, the subtitles appear whenever there is any writing on the screen.
I'm putting it down to my old Wharfedale DVD player not working properly.

Mine is working fine, not getting any subtitles

A lot of the cheap early players seemed to suffer the subtitles defaulting on. My Mico does it with just about every disc you put in it.
